Below I describe three simple but profound Self-help exercises, which you can apply to yourself daily.

Harmonizing the Main Central Flow

The Main Central Flow is the source of our life energy. This flow moves down the front and up the back.

With Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-help you can harmonize this Main Central flow. If you do this flow regularly, it’ll give you a sense of well-being and happiness, a state where healing can occur. It helps you to feel centered and grounded. Some people find it soothing and use it to fall asleep, while others find it enjoyable to wake up well.

Holding a Finger

Holding each finger one at a time has a harmonizing effect on body, mind, and spirit. You can do this anytime, anywhere and it has a very relaxing and beneficial effect. Just hold each finger for 2 to 5 minutes. Which finger and in what order you want to do this, you can decide for yourself.

The 36 breaths
