Sessions

A Jin Shin Jyutsu treatment

Typically a Jin Shin Jyutsu session takes about an hour. During the session, you lie clothed with your face up on a cushioned treatment table.  Jin Shin Jyutsu is a gentle art, in which the practitioner’s fingertips are placed over your clothing on certain ‘safety energy locks’.  We call this giving of flow to someone.

The safety energy locks

On the energy pathways in your body are 26 ‘safety energy locks’. These are areas in the body that can congest or lock up, when there is too much tension or stress. Now energy can’t flow freely anymore causing disharmony, discomfort and sometimes disease physically, mentally or spiritually.

The session

By simply holding certain ‘safety energy locks’ with your hands, the flow of energy can come back into harmony and recover. The practitioner’s hands are like ‘jumper cables’ that allow the life energy to flow again. During or after a treatment you will also receive a tip or advice on how to apply Jin Shin Jyutsu on yourself. This way you can support the process that has been set in motion.

Jin Shin Jyutsu and children

Jin Shin Jyutsu is also very suitable for children. The gentle approach and touching the ‘safety energy locks’ provides relaxation and ensures that the energy starts flowing again. This activates the self-healing capacity of their bodies. Complaints reduce or even disappear altogether.

Help your Self

During or after treatment I often give the children a tip about how they can help themselves with Jin Shin Jyutsu. They learn, for example, how to hold a particular spot on their body or a specific finger that relates to the child’s needs at that moment.

Jin Shin Jyutsu can help children who are anxious, sad, often angry, worried or always have to do their very best.

Marieke, Heemstede

‘Very sensitive and empathic; knows without explanation where the imbalance is (I don’t think only with me…). Does not reject regular care; is open to the possibility that some ‘diseases’ cannot be fully treated with JSJ’.

Simone, Leidschendam

‘Because of what you as Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner and person put into the world, I experience that you have laid the foundation for a Jin Shin Jyutsu community in Voorburg and for miles around. Your optimism and positive attitude make an important contribution here. Jin Shin Jyutsu is lived by you in an inspiring way.
